“Cronin’s pipes were definitely up for the assignment. He conveyed just the right blend of excitement and reverence. He made me want to settle down, not for a long winter’s nap, but for a long evening by the GE”.

I spent 13 years as an announcer for Spectrum SportsNet, calling regular season, playoff and California state championship high school sports, I had the honor of calling San Diego State Baseball for Tony Gwynn’s Aztecs over 10 years, and I did sideline reporting for San Diego State Football, as well as Play-By-Play for UCSD Men’s & Women’s Basketball.

My Play-By-Play work for two seasons with the independent minor league baseball San Diego Surf Dawgs is featured in the ESPN Radio 30 For 30 Documentary “Rickey Won’t Quit” about Rickey Henderson’s final year in professional baseball with the Surf Dawgs, who won the 2005 Golden Baseball League Championship.

I spent nine years at The Mighty 1090 & ESPN Radio 1700 as a Host, Anchor, Reporter, and Executive Producer, including five years hosting the San Diego Padres Pre-Game and Post-Game Shows.

I am now in my 10th year with NewsRadio 600 KOGO in San Diego as an Anchor and Reporter, as well as NBC 24/7 News Radio.

As a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, with a degree in Integrative Biology, I was the Sports Director at KALX Radio, working as the Play-By-Play Announcer for Cal Football, Basketball and Baseball.
